Time Tables and Scheduling
Transport My Automobile prides itself in shipping vehicles in a timely manner. Nothing is worse than having to wait around for a vehicle that should have already been there or having it arrive late without you having any advance notice of a delay. We do everything we can to try to get your vehicle to you when you need it. Below are some questions you may have relating to our time tables and scheduling.
Q: How long will it take to pick my vehicle up once I place my order?
A: Typically it takes between 1 to 3 days to physically pick up the vehicle by one of our carriers.
Q: How long does it take to ship my vehicle?
A: It takes a few business days to schedule a truck to pick up the unit, and 1-4 days for delivery, depending on how far the route is.
Q: How can I track my shipment so that I know when it will be delivered?
A: We will inform the customer of all scheduling, pickup, estimated delivery times, etc. Also, in most cases we can provide the customer with the driver's cell phone.
Q: What if I need to have my vehicle arrive on a specific date?
A: As always we will work with you to meet your needs. Unfortunately there are some situations that are well beyond our control (weather, traffic) but in those circumstances we will be sure to let you know what is going on with your vehicle.
Q: What are some typical issues that would cause a delay of delivery?
The main reasons for a delay are either weather, traffic or trouble with the carrier truck. While there is no way for us to be prepared for each and every circumstance we are prepared to keep you up to date and informed regardless of what would cause us a delay. Ultimately our goal is to get your vehicle to you on time, safe and secure.
